Thank you for visiting the Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (THEJATC) located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The jurisdiction covers fifteen counties throughout east central Illinois and west central Indiana. We bring our communities the best trained men and women in the electrical trade.
Our program provides a top notch electrical program through classroom study and on the job training that leads to an Associates degree. We are a Registered Apprenticeship with the Department of Labor, and we offer a five year study for commercial/industrial Inside Journeymen and a three year program for Residential Wiremen. The core training is completely self-funded through our NECA contractors and IBEW local union #725. After completing the program, our apprentices become Journeyman, which is a status that is recognized throughout the country. Because of their training, our electricians perform safe and professional installations, have a mastery of the electrical code and OSHA regulations, and work efficiently to do a job “Right the First Time.”
